1. Get OverSite

Choose your phone. Downloads appear here when their approved release is ready.

Android and iPhone are coming soon. Keep this page bookmarked; the approved Android download will appear here automatically. Your code stays valid until its expiry or usage limit.

Installing an APK outside Google Play

Open the approved download on your Android phone. If Android asks, allow this browser to install unknown apps, install OverSite, then turn that permission off again. Keep Play Protect enabled. If installation is blocked, ask the project owner for help; do not uninstall an existing app or erase its data.

If Android reports an incompatible device, use the website to review the project and ask the owner about supported phones. Camera-based AR needs an ARCore-supported device and Google Play Services for AR.

2. Allow permissions when needed

Camera: lets OverSite see the site for AR. Allow while using the app.
Precise location: finds nearby projects. Allow while using the app when prompted.
Microphone: needed when you use IRIS voice or record sound. You can decline and use touch controls.
Photos and videos: only grant access when saving or sharing media requests it.

If you declined a required permission, open Android Settings → Apps → OverSite → Permissions, enable it, and reopen OverSite.

3. Enter your code

Open OverSite's code panel, paste the complete access code, and confirm. Keep an internet connection while the model downloads. An expired or fully used code needs a replacement from the project owner.

4. Go to the saved site

Stand safely near the saved location. Point the camera toward fixed buildings and move slowly while tracking starts. Precise alignment needs a prepared site and a successful location lock. A saved GPS location alone does not guarantee exact alignment.

If nothing appears, check your code, connection, camera and precise-location permissions, and confirm that the owner saved and published a model at this site.

Using an iPhone?

The Android installer cannot run on iPhone. You can open the website to work with models. Native iPhone AR and an iPhone access-code viewer are not available yet.
